Tara knew what would happen if she showed up to the prom solo. NIsha and Jordan would make the extra effort to include her, but as the night progressed, the slow tunes would certainly outweigh the fast ones. Eventually Jordan and Nate would casually disappear for some alone time while Nisha and Brian remained glued to the dance floor, losing themselves in each other's eyes. And what would Tara be doing? She'd be feeling pretty awkward as she watched over her friends' sparkly evenings bags--back at the table, alone. No, going to the prom stag was definitely out of hte question.
